OTF saying Sark and Coach Jackson have been in touch with WR Daylan McCutcheon of Lucas Lovejoy in the past week.
Even though he was brought in for an official visit recently, he hasn't ever been thought of as a guy to realistically end up in Texas' class due to the staff zeroing in on others.
He's keeping his July 13th commitment date, and it will be between FSU, Ohio State and Texas, but uncertain if Texas is truly in it.

IT mentioned the staff is also staying in touch with WR Tanook Hines of Spring Dekaney ahead of his July 15th announcement.
They think it's down to Texas vs. USC with Baylor and Notre Dame trailing.

OTF believes LB Madden Faraimo of San Juan Capistrano, CA will make a July decision between Notre Dame and Texas.
IT added that he could be on a longer timeline, and Coach Nansen is doing his best to get him back on campus at the end of this month for the last recruiting event of the summer.

On3 reporting Texas is a "wildcard" for LB offer Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng from IMG Academy.
He says an official visit in the fall is a possibility.
“Texas is in the mix and they are the wildcard for me,” says Owusu-Boateng. “They started texting me in the spring, we are talking some and they want me to come out and visit. I have former teammates there, so Texas has my interest. I could take an official visit out there during the season.”
“It is a great program, but I still have a lot to learn about them. They are in the SEC, they are doing well and Texas is being considered. They aren’t up there with the top five yet, but it is a school I am taking a look at.”

I saw a tweet from another prospect that Texas' recruiting BBQ will be on July 25th before two-a-days start across the country.
I will add it to the calendar on the first page.
Coach Flood just reposted this.
Per IT, ATH Michael Terry III of San Antonio Alamo Heights will return to campus on July 25th for the recruiting BBQ.
Oregon is the main compe ion.

Jonah Williams and now Terry too ? How to is Oregon pulling all these guys ?
Ohio State is another team not messing around this cycle, which is no surprise with Michigan winning three in a row against them and going on to win the whole thing this past season.
I was wondering if Texas would re-visit this one once he de-committed from LSU, but I haven't read anything that Texas has even made contact.

Well if that is the case, what’s to keep guys from hitting the portal for a big check ?
Hard to say as more and more of these guys now have representation for NIL deals, and some schools haven't been able to follow through with their promises.
These players negotiate and re-negotiate seemingly from season to season.
In Oregon's case specifically, they may not have trouble keeping players if they're far exceeding market value from the start.
